A volunteer team was formed by First Ferry to actively participate in various charity and community activities as well as render their support to deprived communities. Over the past few years, First Ferry has been accredited with many awards and recognitions by different organizations – the “Caring Company” logo by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service and 'Heart to Heart Company' by the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups – in recognition of their outstanding achievement in corporate citizenship.

Environmental Protection
In view of the deteriorating climatic conditions stemmed from global warming and pollution problems, "Save our Planet, Protect the Environment" has become a growing global issue. First Ferry is committed to implementing a series of measures aimed at promoting environmental conservation through reducing damage to the environment, energy saving and recycling.
Besides, First Ferry has taken several moves to re-fit the vessels to enhance their environmental friendliness.

Sponsored “Community Used Clothes Recycling Bank Scheme” held by Friends of the Earth (HK) with the aim in sending out green message to outlying islanders
Concerns on staff
First Ferry demonstrates its concern on staff development and fulfillment by providing diversified training courses adn leisure classes to the staff, nominating them for different recognition schemes as well as holding different kinds of staff activities to help maintain staff’s work-life balance.

Staff activities
A variety of staff activities have been held by First Ferry’s Recreation Group and staff were also encouraged to form teams to participate in different sports competitions with a view to enhance team spirit and instill a sense of belonging.
Boat trips were arranged for visits to Tung Lung Island and Ninepins Island.
First Ferry’s staff partook in “NWS Basketball Competition”.
