Step Up Measures to Prevent Swine Influenza

Hong Kong - New World First Ferry Services Limited ("First Ferry") and New World First Ferry Services (Macau) Limited ("First Ferry (Macau)")step up measures against Swine Influenza.

Public announcement is made onboard and at piers to remind passengers observing personal and environmental hygiene. Prevention measures include daily cleansing of the cabin with diluted domestic bleach and regular cleansing and maintenance of the ventilation system onboard. Internal guidelines are also issued to advise frontline staff on points to note when cleaning the cabin and internal staff alter-response system has also been established to remain vigilant. Besides, due to limited supply and time for replenishment, First Ferry and First Ferry (Macau) have prepared a small quantity of mask at piers and on board. Passengers who have immediate and genuine need may contact our staff for a mask.
