First Ferry Offers Free Rides to the Disabled on the “International Day of Disabled Persons 2009”

New World First Ferry Services Limited ("First Ferry") renders its support to the "International Day of Disabled Persons 2009" held on 6 December 2009 (Sunday), by offering free rides on ordinary class of ordinary ferry services to the disabled.

On 6 December 2009, cardholders of "Registration Card for People with Disabilities" issued by the Labour and Welfare Bureau with one companion can enjoy free rides on First Ferry ordinary class of ordinary ferry services simply by presenting the card to piers' frontline staff. Free rides are applicable to the following routes running by First Ferry only:

Central - Cheung Chau
Central - Mui Wo
Inter Islands (Peng Chau - Mui Wo - Chi Ma Wan - Cheung Chau)
North Point - Kowloon City
North Point - Hung Hom

* Deluxe class of ordinary ferry services and fast ferry services of the above routes are NOT applicable
