First Ferry records 55,000 passengers travelling between Central and Cheung Chau during Cheung Chau Bun Festival

Hong Kong - In connection with today's Cheung Chau Bun Festival, New World First Ferry Services Limited ("First Ferry") has increased the number of sailings plying between Central and Cheung Chau over 200%, with over six sailings departing per hour during peak hours.

 

Here below shows the number of passengers taking First Ferry plying between Central and Cheung Chau between 8:00am to 9:00pm.

In connection with the Bun Scrambling Competition that will be held at midnight, First Ferry will be providing an additional ordinary-ferry sailing at 1:15am on 29 April (Sunday) departing from Cheung Chau for passengers to return to Central after the competition. As only limited seats are available for the public to watch the competition at the venue, please pay attention to the announcement of the organizer and the media reports before departure.
