New World First Ferry Services Limited ("First Ferry") and New World First Ferry Services (Macau) Limited ["First Ferry (Macau)"] are jointly owned by Chow Tai Fook Enterprises Limited and NWS Holdings Limited. NWS Holdings Limited ("NWS Holdings", Hong Kong stock code: 659), the infrastructure and service flagship of New World Development Company Limited (Hong Kong stock code: 17), embraces a diversified range of businesses in Hong Kong, Mainland China and Macau. Its Infrastructure portfolio includes Roads, Energy, Water and Ports projects. Its Service & Rental division comprises Facilities Rental (the management of Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre and ATL Logistics Centre), Contracting (Hip Hing Construction and NWS Engineering), Financial Services (Taifook Securities and New World Insurance) and Other Services (New World First Bus, Citybus and New World First Ferry). First Ferry commenced its service on 15 January 2000, and operates a total of five outlying and inner harbour ferry routes at present.
Under the same umbrella, New World First Ferry Services (Macau) Limited ["First Ferry (Macau)"] has been operating ferry service between Macau and Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong since January 2000.

Our Fleet
Upon commencement of service in early 2000, First Ferry and First Ferry (Macau) invested over HK$150 million to acquire a fleet of 15 vessels and auxiliary assets and implement a series of service enhancement programmes.
First Ferry and First Ferry (Macau) believe in perpetual improvement. To upgrade our vessel fleet, First Ferry and First Ferry (Macau) have committed over HK$700 million to acquire a new fleet of 17 high-speed catamarans since 2000. With the capacity to comfortably accommodate 200 to 400 passengers, each of the new double-deck catamaran is capable of reaching a maximum speed ranging from 26 to 42 knots. The new high-speed catamarans are earmarked to provide luxurious sea voyage, they are equipped with the latest navigational aids and are well appointed with strong focus on passenger comfort. As a responsible corporate citizen, First Ferry and First Ferry (Macau) care for the environment and the catamarans are coated with non-toxic anti-fouling paint to help preserve the environment.
