The First Ferry Passengers Liaison Group (Central-Mui Wo route) was successfully held on 24 November 2017. Attendees shared their concerns actively with constructive opinions provided while the First Ferry management thanked the attendees for the valuable comments and promised to follow-up promptly.


Meanwhile, First Ferry management shared with attendees about the service updates, including:


1.     In mid-2017, First Ferry started to add 20 extra seats on each of the five 403-seater fast ferries. The related works had been completed on two vessels and the remaining three vessels were slated to be completed before the 3rd quarter of next year which will help increase the carrying capacity of our fast-ferry fleet.

2.     In 2018, First Ferry will start to replace the current sailing information board at piers by LCD displays, which more sailing information, especially the special sailing arrangements could be shown.

3.     In 2018 and 2019, First Ferry will replace the existing air-conditioning systems with environmentally friendly and efficient ones. Passengers’ seats will be replaced gradually coupled with refurbishment of cabin to provide a more comfortable environment.
