New World First Ferry Services Limited (“First Ferry”) is going to distribute the red packets to passengers for free at Central Pier 5, Central Pier 6, North Point Pier and on the ferry of Inter-islands ferry route from 8:30am onwards on 8 February 2018, on a first-come-first-served basis while stocks last.

 

The well-designed First Ferry red packets come with two different colours, festive red and elegant violet, feature an auspicious Chinese greeting and Plum blossom, symbolising wealth and happiness for everyone in the Year of the Dog.

 

Meanwhile, on 6 February, a festive Chinese paper-cutting activity had been held at Central Pier 5 and Mui Wo Pier to celebrate the coming of the Year of the Dog with passengers. By collaborating with a social enterprise, “My Concept Event Management’, a pioneering social enterprise that integrates performance and event management with the needs of young people, and, provides sustainable work opportunities for deprived youth, and functions as a platform for them to realise their dreams, the professional paper-cutting artists were invited to demonstrate their wonderful paper-cutting skills, while exquisite paper-cutting decorative artworks in dog graphics and  Chinese greetings were distributed to over 300 passengers.
